Natural medicine and healing have been ingrained into me since I was young.

My Grandmother ran a community vegan health school, I often spent my school holidays helping out at family friend’s health retreats, and also I was that kid that had a reaction to every medical drug imaginable which lead my parents to favor naturopathic medicine over Western medicine.

Inspired by all of this, my destiny was set to study naturopathic medicine.

Or so I thought… as I was studying naturopathy, I was cursed with a chronic case of cystic acne that no one could fix.  Which, in turn, began my new obsession and study of dermal science.

For the first 10 years of my career, I was fortunate enough to travel the globe, studying and working with some of the top medical clinics, both on land and sea, and actively sought out many mentors and teachers along the way.

In 2010, I moved back to Australia in an effort to appease my mum who would cry every time we spoke on the phone because she never got to see me in person.

I did not intend for the move to be permanent but little did I know that I would return to Australia and discover that my hard work and transient lifestyle had resulted in large hormonal imbalances, which were showing in my skin and on my body.

This leads me to spend the next 5 years studying to be a hormone specialist.

In 2014, I opened my own skin clinic, merging my passion for dermal science with natural therapies.  Through my coaching, I now get to witness the most amazing results in clients’ health and skin I have ever seen in my career.

I have an ever-growing thirst for learning to read our bodies’ symptoms and understand what they are truly asking for, and then offering some help to improve our imperfections. The human body is spectacularly intelligent at healing and thriving when we listen to it, and sometimes it just needs a little help.

While my base of study started many years ago in dermal science and naturopathic medicine, it has brought me to today where I love researching all other forms of healing.  From biblical, Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic principles and so on, I believe that they all hold wisdom into helping our body adapt to our modern, hectic lifestyles and ever-changing physical climate and environment.

Modern lifestyles heavily impact our skin and health.  From bad sleeping patterns, low water intake, modern agriculture of processed-refined foods, toxins building up in our cells, hours of exposure to blue and artificial light (e.g. computer screens and smartphones), copious amounts of multitasking, the harsh Australian sun and pollution – these are all just a few reasons as to why we need to learn how to give extra love and care to our skin and bodies, more now than ever before.

Historically we have never asked our body to perform in such a stimulating world.  Often it is doing an amazing job on its own considering the circumstances, and it may just need some key tricks and nutrients to help when things start showing up in skin and health.

I love the expression “our genes load the gun but it is our lifestyle that pulls the trigger on dysfunction”.

One of my favorite authors, Ellen G White, wrote in her book, Ministry of Healing, that “disease is an effort of nature to free the system from conditions that result from a violation of the laws of health.  In case of sickness, the cause should be ascertained.  Unhealthful conditions should be changed, wrong habits corrected.  Then nature is to be assisted in her effort to expel impurities and to re-establish the right conditions in the system.”

“It is my opinion that any skin problems we have today, that we didn’t have when we were born, are fixable.  However, we do need to make healthy changes, in both lifestyle and habits, to help the body do its natural job in healing.” Kat

My mission is to help EVERYONE at every budget achieve amazing healthy skin!

A new and exciting opportunity awaits for all of us to have amazing healthy skin – if you live too far from Kat to come in regularly or sadly can’t make regular appointments The new online skin programming is for You!

The medical beauty industry is finally moving toward healing and supporting the natural and nutritional function of the skin.  Within these principles is the key to long term results.

I love coaching and fixing the impossible – its the biggest thing that fills my cup up! Knowledge is the most powerful gift, especially when combined with inspiration. Science tells us that no human has the same DNA or epigenetics (environmental factors that determine our health), however, there are patterns in nature and human behavior. I have become really good at reading those patterns and fast-tracking clients down the right path in helping to support their skin and body in its healing, thriving journey.

“Good health is not something we can buy however it can be an extremely valuable savings account” – Anne Willson
